Job Overview:

This role requires a skilled individual to engage in the programming of Numerical Control (NC) equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Catia V5/V6 and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and interpret various engineering documentation, including drawings, models, and specifications.
  2. Provide operational models and 2D drawings to facilitate manufacturing process planning.
  3. Support manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining tooling and fixture definitions.
  4. Create and manage CAM programs and operator instructions for NC machinery.
  5. Develop Loft MCAD models and associated digital tooling programs.
  6. Demonstrate a strong understanding of NC programming, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  7. Apply knowledge of GD&T and aerospace tolerances effectively.
  8. Assist in producibility assessments as needed.
  9. Maintain detailed records and schedules of assigned tasks.
  10. Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, scheduling, and quality.
  11. Provide technical support to procurement and suppliers as required.
  12. Utilize strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Contribute to training and mentoring of production engineering staff.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and competency assessments to stay updated with technological advancements.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of four years of college education or eight years of relevant experience in the aircraft industry, demonstrating the ability to perform essential functions related to GD&T and aerospace tolerances.
