We are currently in search of a proficient and driven Litigation Support Specialist to enhance our legal team. This position plays a vital role in facilitating the effective management of case files and client interactions.

Role Summary: The Litigation Support Specialist will provide crucial assistance in the Personal Injury and Employment Law sectors. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation support within these domains, along with a strong proficiency in both English and Spanish. This position offers a hybrid work model but necessitates onsite attendance for specific tasks and meetings.

Key Duties:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and oversight of case files, including drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and compile pertinent case information.
  • Prepare and file documents with courts, ensuring adherence to all procedural requirements.
  • Manage case calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates.
  • Translate legal documents and correspondence between English and Spanish as necessary.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including answering phones, managing emails, and handling office correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies, Legal Secretarial Studies, or a related field; Paralegal certification is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Litigation Support Specialist, specifically in Personal Injury and Employment Law.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation and case management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
  • Experience with case management software is preferred.
