Key Responsibilities- Client Service Functions:
- Maintain positive working relationships with existing and prospective clients through timely and effective communication.
- Develop and execute client outreach and sales strategies to achieve new or additional orders.
- Ensure complete fulfillment and client satisfaction through follow-up communications.
- Generate calls to support sales efforts through canvassing for potential new clients and sales opportunities with existing clients.
- Collaborate with management and sales department to communicate clients' needs and expectations.
- Communicate staffing needs to the talent pipeline to match the right talent for the job.
- Aid in fulfillment of sales target objectives and service performance requirements through new and existing customer sales by providing excellent service and customer satisfaction.
- Cold Calling: Contact existing and prospective clients to secure and place new orders.
- Staffing Functions:
- Greet applicants, staff, and guests with a positive and professional attitude, fostering great relationships.
- Oversee the staffing process and ensure fulfillment of all client event orders, addressing or escalating fulfillment bottlenecks as needed.
- Foster great relationships with applicants and staffing peers, confirming event staff on orders and ensuring they have access to all necessary event information.
- Meet with department manager on a regular basis to review staffing needs and provide updates.
- Input and review client event orders with accurate attention to detail.
- Field a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails, responding timely and escalating as appropriate.
- Address people-related issues and concerns, including disciplinary action, performance issues, and general employee questions.
- Review and update employee files on a regular basis.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures as set forth by the company handbook.
- Organize and participate in ongoing department training for staff.
- Participate in an on-call rotation that involves some weekends, weekday nights, and holidays.
- Recruiting Functions:
- Assist with recruitment as needed, to support sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Aid management in directing orientations for new hires.
- Ensure compliance in handling employment authorization forms and documents.
- Requires a high school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-3 years prior client outreach and staffing experience, preferred. Ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with and/or ability to learn Mac and Mac-based programs.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly.
- Strong communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to take direction.
- Must be service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Active Listening - Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and personnel information systems.
- Administrative - Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as Word processing, managing files and records, and workplace terminology.
- Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Instructing - Ability to coordinate, conduct, and teach others how to do something.
- Time Management - Ability to manage one's own time and the time of others.
- Team Player - Ability to collaborate and offer solutions to the department.
