Job Title: Client Supportive Services Liaison

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Employment, Wellness and Supportive Services Program Manager, the Client Supportive Services Liaison will provide support and assistance to HOPICS clients and their wellbeing through various supportive services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance directly related to client supportive services, including receiving and organizing clothing donations, distributing receipts to donors, scheduling laundering services, and managing the clothing closet schedule.
  • Coordinate with HOPICS staff to address immediate client needs for clothing or other items related to employment.
  • Prepare and distribute food boxes, verify and confirm requests with Case Management, and maintain accurate records of food requests and distributions.
  • Act as Volunteer Lead for HOPICS-sponsored events and activities, ensuring volunteers are assigned to workstations and maintaining check-in/out logs.
  • Support the Employment and Client Wellness Team as needed, providing assistance and support to the Program Manager, and training HOPICS volunteers as required.
  • Complete and maintain all required documentation related to supportive service components, submit daily/weekly/monthly distribution logs, and complete incident reports as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of job-related experience working with homeless individuals and families or five years of experience in the social service field.
  • Case management and homeless program experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds, communicate effectively, and maintain organized documentation.
  • Verification of Employment Eligibility and Background Clearance, ServSafe food safety certification, TB test, CPR and First Aid Certification, and a valid Driver's License with auto insurance are required.

Working Conditions:
This position requires work in a client-friendly environment, supporting the pick-up and delivery of donations as needed, and local automobile travel. The individual must be able to handle constant distractions, interruptions, and uncontrollable changes in priorities/work schedules.
