About the Role

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a skilled Client Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective support to clients and patients, including greeting clients, answering phone calls, and checking in patients.
  • Manage electronic medical records, reports, and correspondences, and confirm appointments and medical records are received.
  • Present and explain fees regarding treatment plans and invoicing, and answer questions regarding products and services.
  • Offer clients alternate payment methods and demonstrate quality decision-making skills to choose the most appropriate course of action.
  • Acquire and maintain excellent listening and communication skills with those around you, including management, doctors, clients, and associates.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in client service
  • Previous experience in the medical field
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, specialty medicine experience a plus
  • Compassion for pets and people
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills required
  • High emotional intelligence
