Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn San Leandro. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing new volume accounts, growing positive relationships with existing clients, and soliciting contracted revenues from corporate and group prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell corporate business within the negotiated and group segments.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and generate contracted revenues from volume prospects.
  • Employ revenue management techniques to recommend rate proposals.
  • Prepare and present requests for proposals to clients.
  • Prospect for new contract business using various methods.
  • Develop sales action plans and manage contact management systems.
  • Negotiate and close contracts that meet business plan objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years hotel on-property sales experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and property Management System(s).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management, and listening skills.
Benefits
