Automotive Sales Director

United Auto Group is an established dealership group with multiple locations in California. We represent top brands such as INFINITI, KARMA, Mitsubishi, and more.
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales team to achieve or exceed volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals. This includes recruiting and selecting candidates, orienting and training staff, and supervising and motivating sales personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and select high-performing sales staff.
- Orient and train new hires to ensure they meet dealership standards.
- Supervise and motivate sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure all sales staff are properly trained on product knowledge, prospecting, and overcoming objections.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sales management.
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
