Position: Accounting Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Manager to join our Corporate team.

As the Accounting Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the general accounting function, either directly or through subordinate supervisors. Your responsibilities will include managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of various accounting systems, including but not limited to journal entries, general ledger, cash management, accounts payable, and accruals, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the corporate accounting department.
  • Assist in managing the center of excellence (COE) shared services group.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of the corporate accounting ledger and sub-ledger.
  • Direct general accounting activities, including prepaids, accruals, and corporate allocations.
  • Contribute to the development of goals, policies, and procedures related to accounting and financial management.
  • Review monthly account reconciliations and workbooks prepared by senior and staff accountants.
  • Coordinate the preparation of external audit support and necessary materials.
  • Establish system controls and develop procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a mindset focused on continuous improvement and business process optimization.
  • Coordinate submissions to relevant audit agencies in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Manage reporting related to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and departmental spending.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA certification desired.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • 4-6 years of management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations is a plus.
  • Experience with DCAA accounting and audits is preferred.
