Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and providing analytical support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Reconcile accounts, including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
  • Provide analytical support to business units, including identifying trends and anomalies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audit documents.
  • Support the conversion of accounting systems from Yardi to NetSuite.
  • Work with operational departments to ensure timely processing of accounting information.
  • Review and interpret customer contracts to ensure proper setup of charges.
  • Review and reconcile charges, credits, and refunds.
  • Track customer contracts and work with departments to ensure timely billing.
  • Lead ad hoc projects and provide process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA or CPA candidate.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Excel experience, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Working knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Ability to reconcile unique and complicated accounting activity.
