Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative is an entry-level position at Alpine Bank of Colorado, focused on delivering exceptional customer service to meet the needs of our valued customers. This role involves providing personalized support, resolving issues, and promoting our banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to bank policies and procedures.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our banking products and services, including consumer and business loans, credit cards, and deposit accounts.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Adherence to Policies: Follow all bank policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, transaction processing, and security.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Orientation: Possess a strong customer service mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Word, and ability to learn and utilize bank-specific software and systems.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous customer service or cash handling experience preferred.
