Dining Maintenance Responsibilities:

Departmental Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding resident care information, including health records.
  • Coordinate with other department heads to ensure effective food service operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • On-the-job training provided; prior experience in the food service industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to relate to and work with individuals who may be ill, disabled, or emotionally distressed.
  • Meet general health requirements as outlined by facility policies, which may include physical and mental evaluations.
  • Possess adequate sensory abilities or use assistive devices to perform job functions effectively.
  • Capable of tasting and smelling food to assess quality.
  • Ability to lift, push, or carry a minimum of 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Willingness to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
