Dining Maintenance Responsibilities:

- Take and fulfill food and beverage orders, ensuring timely service.
- Assist with food preparation and maintain cleanliness in dining areas.

- Communicate residents' dietary needs and preferences to the kitchen staff.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols in both kitchen and dining settings.
Departmental Responsibilities:
- Participate in mandatory training programs as scheduled.
- Assist in departmental projects and studies as required.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding resident care information, including health records.
- Coordinate with other department heads to ensure effective food service operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- On-the-job training provided; prior experience in the food service industry is advantageous.
- Ability to relate to and work with individuals who may be ill, disabled, or emotionally distressed.
- Meet general health requirements as outlined by facility policies, which may include physical and mental evaluations.
- Possess adequate sensory abilities or use assistive devices to perform job functions effectively.
- Capable of tasting and smelling food to assess quality.
- Ability to lift, push, or carry a minimum of 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Willingness to assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
