Position Overview

Compensation

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the mission and values of Sturm Financial Group.
  • Manage account openings, cash transactions, and the sale of bank products and services while resolving complex customer inquiries.
  • Accountable for sales and service activities at assigned branch locations.
  • Proactively seek new customers through marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Refer customers to appropriate departments within the organization as needed.
Essential Duties
  • Process transactions accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Cash checks within established limits and guidelines.
  • Conduct daily cash settlements and proof transactions.
  • Open various types of accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to promote products and services.
  • Identify customer financial needs through direct engagement and marketing efforts.
  • Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products and services, referring customers as necessary.
  • Profile customers to understand their financial needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to enhance customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer needs and establish effective working relationships.
  • Deliver service quality in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and banking regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience in banking, specifically in teller or personal banker roles, or one year of cash handling or customer service experience.
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:30 PM
