About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our Continuous Improvement initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and driving projects from initiation to close, ensuring that project vision and goals are clearly defined, and key stakeholders are identified and on-boarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project plans, roles, and responsibilities, and communications plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical groups, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project scope, progress, and spend, and create visualizations for transparent communication and accountability.
  • Issue and Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate issues and risks in a timely manner to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the project methodology, ensuring that templates and work instructions are clear for all project phases and deliverables.
  • Performance Metrics: Generate key performance indicators on work processes and business metrics to influence behavior change and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10-15+ years of industry experience in Oil & Gas, with a focus on IT/OT, business analysis, engineering, or project management.
  • Portfolio and Project Management: Provide oversight on portfolio and project design, execution, and handover.
  • Business Solutions: Deliver and lead business solutions that involve software, cloud technology, and multiple databases.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate a can-do attitude, ability to find consensus, and eliminate roadblocks, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile principles, Microsoft O365 applications, and basic level of proficiency in project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Scrum Master Certification: Scrum Master certification is a plus.
