Position Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated and mechanically skilled Pump Maintenance Technician who possesses a proactive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on work setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in mechanical roles.

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on clutch systems for production oil and field machinery.
  • Assess and troubleshoot potential complications with pumps and related equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret data during diagnostics and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Service and repair various types of pumps, including centrifugal, horizontal/vertical, and viking pumps.
  • Possess knowledge in electrical systems, automation, and mechanical principles.
  • Diagnose ignition system issues and safety concerns in production oil field machinery.
  • Execute both external and internal repairs on engines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive, oil field, or diesel mechanics.
  • Strong mechanical skills, with a background in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics.
  • Local residency is required, with the ability to report to the office as necessary.
  • Prior experience in machinery or related industries is preferred.
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and machinery.
  • Capacity to manage a physically demanding workload.

Position Details:

Location: Must be local to the operational area.

Hitch Schedule: To be determined

Compensation: $27-$30 per hour
