The Client Relationship Manager position serves as a vital ally to Clients and Sales Account Executives.

This position is essential in ensuring the success of advertising campaigns and conveying critical insights to enhance client support.


The Client Relationship Manager will be integral to our fast-paced Advertising Sales team, overseeing the entire sales process from proposal to execution.

This role entails cultivating and enhancing client relationships while proactively identifying strategic methods for new or additional opportunities, as well as upselling products and services.

By establishing and nurturing trusted client relationships, our Client Relationship Managers contribute to revenue growth, advertiser education, and overall client satisfaction. This fosters a premier partnership experience for NBCU's advertising clients and their campaigns.

This individual upholds a high standard of operational excellence while executing impactful, performance-oriented campaigns.

They will possess a strong enthusiasm for data, processes, and customer success, closely collaborating with other client services team members and cross-functional departments.

This role demands exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement through a test-and-learn approach.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients and agencies through regular communication; actively enhance industry connections to gain market insights.

2. Collaborate synergistically with all internal teams (Client Team, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Operations, etc.).

3. Support daily client deliverables throughout the pre-sale and post-sale phases of campaigns. Lead communication for all internal deliverables related to client and sales support.

4. Work cross-functionally with Sales to drive additional revenue and enhance advertiser satisfaction.

5. Partner with a diverse array of internal teams including Pricing, Inventory, Ad Operations, and Measurement to ensure successful campaign execution and resolve client issues.

6. Analyze data to identify trends, clearly communicate the rationale behind results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.

7. Develop campaign strategies and audience targeting recommendations.

8. Maintain current knowledge of NBCU features and audience trends, serving as an external product expert, educating clients on new and existing advertising solutions, and advising on best practices to meet advertiser KPIs.
