As a Client Relationship Manager, you will oversee the entire recruitment and fulfillment process.

This role involves collaborating with both sales and recruitment teams to identify recruitment strategies, engaging with clients to comprehend their needs, and screening potential candidates to effectively match qualified individuals with employers, leading to successful hires.


Workforce1 is a service provided by the NYC Department of Small Business Services that prepares and connects qualified candidates to job opportunities in New York City.

We excel in creating strong matches for candidates and employers by leveraging a unique blend of recruitment expertise, industry insights, and skill-building workshops to enhance candidates' employment opportunities.

Services are available to individuals aged 18 and over across all five boroughs of New York City.

Responsibilities:

Key Functions:
Implement recruitment processes and initiatives

Review and assess resumes of job applicants

Screen candidates for job openings

Participate in job fairs, networking events, and information sessions for hiring

Establish connections with colleges and universities

Communicate with the team regarding position openings

Provide suggestions for improvement to Recruitment and Sales teams

Update leadership on all postings and openings

Collect all resumes and customer information forms from clients

Build and manage a pipeline of qualified job seekers through recruitment events, re-engagement of Individual Training Grant customers, Community Based Organization referrals, walk-in traffic, and direct advertising

Collaborate with the leadership team to plan, implement, and monitor customized recruitment projects tailored to the specific needs of each business client

Maintain a pipeline of candidates categorized by industry

Initiate a high level of engagement and re-engagement of clients via phone and email

Manage both onsite and offsite recruitment events on behalf of employers

Thoroughly understand the requirements of business clients regarding their open positions

Qualifications:

Required Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft computer systems

2-3 years of professional experience in recruitment, account management, or a related business relationship management role

Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
