Your Contribution

Nextdoor's ACCELERATE program assists advertisers in connecting with our hyper-local community of neighbors across the United States through our native advertising platform. We are in search of a results-driven Account Manager to join our Advertising Solutions team and expand our advertising partnerships on Nextdoor. In this role, you will collaborate with brands and agencies to implement advertising strategies on our platform while also working closely with product management and engineering teams to provide insights and identify opportunities for product enhancement. You will bring a strong commitment to driving customer value and achieving business objectives, with a proven history of nurturing and expanding customer relationships.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing all facets of an advertiser's platform engagement, from onboarding to campaign execution.
  • Establishing and nurturing robust partnerships with brand and agency stakeholders; managing daily communications to ensure campaign success.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by proactively monitoring campaign performance and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Leading data-informed discussions for upselling and renewing contracts to retain and grow advertising partnerships.
  • Utilizing internal tools and dashboards to analyze and enhance performance.
  • Becoming a platform authority; adopting a strategic approach to product integration through a deep understanding of your clients' business challenges and our platform's solutions.
  • Creating and presenting strategic insights, campaign summaries, and/or Quarterly Business Reviews to clients.
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure seamless execution of all campaign elements.
  • Participating in Nextdoor events, training sessions, team-building activities, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Fostering in-person relationships with team members and contributing to the KIND culture that Nextdoor values.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
What You Bring
  • 2-4 years of experience in account management or client services within a digital media or advertising agency.
  • Strong comprehension of campaign strategy, execution, and optimization in a platform-based media buying environment for both managed and self-service clients.
  • Proven success in retaining and expanding customer relationships.
  • Hands-on experience in enhancing brand awareness and achieving lower-funnel performance metrics.
  • A curious mindset, eagerness to learn, and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A data-driven and analytical approach; capable of delivering actionable insights to inform strategy and renewals.
  • A commitment to community building, promoting an inclusive team environment and diversity of thought, both at Nextdoor and in your local neighborhoods.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

The anticipated on-target earnings (OTE) inclusive of base salary and commission is in the range of $90,000-$120,000 annually, with potential for higher earnings based on performance.

We also expect to provide a meaningful equity grant for this position, with quarterly vesting starting within the first three months of employment.
