Job Summary: LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining unified communications systems that support our internal company programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architecture: Assist in designing and planning unified communications solutions based on organizational needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Implementation: Deploy and configure unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.
  • Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of unified communications infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates and patches.
  • Integration: Integrate unified communications systems with other IT components, such as network infrastructure, Active Directory, and cloud services.
  • Security: Implement security measures to protect communication channels, data, and endpoints, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolve communication-related issues, and offer training when necessary.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for unified communications systems, including configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware, software, and services, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze usage patterns and plan for capacity upgrades to meet future communication needs.
  • Disaster Recovery / BCP: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with design and implementation of unified communications solutions.
  • Knowledge of security measures and compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
