Our culture prioritizes people and aims to empower everyone to reach their full potential. We are currently in search of a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to enhance our internal IT team. This position requires expertise in technologies and methodologies for automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure within a distributed environment through scripting. Additionally, you will be responsible for provisioning, managing, monitoring, and decommissioning cloud services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Microsoft 365 with a focus on Exchange.
  • Acquire, configure, and maintain servers across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely procurement of necessary equipment and software while adhering to budgetary and audit controls.
  • Design, implement, and sustain high-performing, highly available systems that align with the firm's functional and financial requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance for the implementation of network servers and collaborate with internal users and technical staff.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through optimal server utilization.
  • Document activity levels and outline next steps for each server.
  • Compile regular status reports and gather departmental requirements to inform infrastructure product decisions.
  • Offer technical support for voice and data network systems, including design and support for voice, instant messaging, meeting, and presence environments.
  • Conduct server and security audits, along with system backup procedures and recovery processes.
  • Work with Operations, Quality Assurance, and third-party data centers to provide technical direction on network topologies, server configurations, and hardware/software deployments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of hardware and network upgrades, as well as new configurations.
  • Document technical requirements, develop project plans, and implement change control procedures.
  • Facilitate design sessions and architectural reviews.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of learning and growth.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintaining and supporting a Microsoft environment, including Azure, clustering, communications, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration with Exchange experience.
  • Proven track record of managing and completing projects across diverse computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development.
  • Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Experience with messaging and queuing services.
  • Knowledge of advanced engineering, administration, and maintenance of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, and network security devices.
  • Able to conduct research into systems issues and products as necessary.
  • Availability for on-call duties approximately one week per month.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with critical thinking abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while being results-oriented.
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Exhibits ethical behavior and sound judgment in decision-making.
