Position Summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Pricing and Estimation Lead to join our team in Washington.

This position is responsible for providing guidance and support concerning Estimating & Pricing Data, Tools, and Methodologies. The main emphasis will be on facilitating estimating efforts for Boeing Commercial Aircraft. Additional responsibilities include supporting common tools and processes for the Estimating Center of Excellence (COE) within Finance Shared Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee Rates & Factors, maintain websites, ensure compliance governance, and coordinate training development.
- Create and enhance tools and models to promote efficiency, continuous improvement, and organizational excellence.


Essential Duties:
- Formulate and implement integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures.

- Cultivate and enhance the skills and capabilities within the organization by managing the training and development strategy.

- Provide oversight and coordination for the Commercial Estimating & Pricing Skill Team.

- Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.

- Lead, develop, and inspire team members.

This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring some onsite work at designated locations. The specific requirements may evolve over time.

Compliance Requirements:
This position must adhere to export control compliance standards. A "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is necessary for this role.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role such as Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA).

- Proficient in budgeting and estimating processes.

- Proven experience in leading projects or teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Knowledge of government and/or commercial estimating practices.

- Ability to work independently across a broad scope of work.

- Experience in international collaboration or on global teams.
