As a Pharmacy Pricing & Market Solutions Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our strategic initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and revenue enhancement. Your expertise in pricing strategies and comprehensive understanding of data and modeling will be essential in supporting our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to guide corporate pharmacy pricing strategies and solutions.
- Lead both quantitative and qualitative assessments with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish pharmacy pricing standards and strategic assumptions.
- Develop and present compelling business cases to facilitate the transition from concept to execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, assisting in the formulation of customer retention strategies and renewal proposals.
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders to elucidate pricing structures as required.
- Deliver training sessions on pharmacy pricing concepts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline.
- Over 8 years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) environment, including expertise in underwriting, financial analysis, pricing, and business data analytics.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of PBM pricing mechanisms and principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with health plan and PBM underwriting processes, with actuarial experience being advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in presentation development.
- High attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, Power BI).
