Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to lead our estimating efforts and drive the growth of our business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing estimating strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates for heavy civil construction projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates meet project requirements
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and information for estimates
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure estimates are accurate and competitive
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on heavy civil construction
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes, especially in the area of heavy civil construction
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Proficiency in the use of construction software and tools, such as takeoff and estimating software, scheduling software, and database management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
