Position Overview:

As a Pharmacy Pricing & Market Solutions Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in executing essential initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, retention, and revenue enhancement. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing pricing strategies and refining data and modeling capabilities within the Health Plan and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to guide corporate pharmacy pricing strategies and market solutions across various business lines.
  • Lead both quantitative and qualitative analyses with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to establish pharmacy pricing standards, assumptions, and strategies.
  • Develop persuasive business cases to advance concepts from ideation through to execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams and stakeholders, assisting in the formulation of customer retention strategies and renewal pricing.
  • Participate in discussions with producers and employer groups to elucidate pricing structures as needed.
  • Provide training sessions on pharmacy pricing concepts as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) environment, with a focus on underwriting, financial reporting, pricing, rebates, and business data analysis.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Skills and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of PBM pricing models and principles.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills.
  • Proficient understanding of health plan and PBM underwriting processes and healthcare products; actuarial experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in presentation development and delivery.
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, Power BI).
