As part of the Pharmacy Services division, the Pharmacy Pricing & Market Solutions Advisor plays a pivotal role in executing essential initiatives aimed at customer growth, retention, and revenue enhancement. This involves the optimization of pricing methodologies, comprehensive understanding of end-to-end assumptions, and refinement of data/modeling capabilities across the Health Plan and Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) sectors, all in pursuit of a sustainable healthcare framework.

Are you a data-oriented problem solver with a keen interest in healthcare and pharmacy? Do you possess a thorough understanding of end-to-end assumptions and data/modeling capabilities within the Health Plan and PBM landscape? If so, this position may align perfectly with your expertise.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM), underwriting, financial analysis, reporting, pricing strategies, rebates, and business data analytics.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • In-depth knowledge of PBM pricing structures and concepts.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of health plan and PBM underwriting processes, with actuarial experience being an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with proficiency in developing and delivering presentations.
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, Power BI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to guide corporate pharmacy pricing strategies and market solutions across various business lines.
  • Lead both quantitative and qualitative analyses with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to establish pharmacy pricing standards, assumptions, and strategies.
  • Develop compelling business cases to navigate concepts from ideation through to approval and execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales and other stakeholders, assisting in the formulation of customer retention strategies and renewal pricing.
  • Participate in discussions with producers and employer groups to clarify pricing as needed.
  • Provide ad hoc training on pharmacy pricing concepts.
