Principal AI/ML Engineer

Position Summary

The Workplace Investing AI Delivery Engineering Chapter team is in search of a Machine Learning / Gen AI engineer to architect, develop, and enhance technical solutions for AI ML applications within the healthcare sector.

Required Expertise and Skills

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Machine Learning engineer, focusing on feature engineering pipelines, model deployment, and inference optimization.
  • Proficient programming abilities in Python and Java.
  • Strong background in developing Python-based APIs (FastAPI / Flask).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing graph data models that effectively represent complex relationships, ensuring efficient querying and traversal.
  • Familiarity with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python, Ansible, CFT).
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AWS services: deploying models in Sagemaker, and leveraging cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting. EC2/EKS compute setup.
  • Experience with development and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Github, Artifactory, Sonar, etc.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience conducting deep data analysis across various database platforms.
  • Experience in ML model monitoring, observability, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI solutions involving Large Language Models, LangChain, Llama Index, Prompt Engineering, and Fine-tuning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

As the AI Solution Lead, you will spearhead innovative solutions across diverse AI applications, including recommendation systems, healthcare guidance, and information extraction utilizing large language models (LLMs). These solutions will be seamlessly integrated across web platforms, mobile applications, and human interfaces.
