This is a remote position that requires a self-starter with exceptional time-management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing after-hours inquiries and providing services, including weekend availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain timely and professional communication with clients
  • Provide product, price, and availability information to customers
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to adjust strategies for increased market share
  • Accurately enter and maintain records of estimates and processed orders
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements, addressing concerns proactively
  • Resolve client complaints using appropriate escalation protocols
  • Provide customers with necessary documents, such as certificates and proof of deliveries
  • Handle technical inquiries related to products and their applications
  • Exercise good judgment in interpreting instructions and evaluating alternative solutions
  • Attend scheduled product and technical training sessions
  • Perform comprehensive customer service tasks, including problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate and explain best practices in product installation and usage
  • Understand the chain of command for problem resolution both internally and externally
  • Provide backup support to other account managers to avoid customer delays
  • Create a satisfying customer experience by personalizing service and adding value
  • Submit sales, pipeline, and projection reports
  • Deliver high-level customer service in compliance with project requirements and performance standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the tradeshow/event industry
  • Familiarity with the flooring industry or related industries is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability and willingness to learn software programs specific to the industry as necessary
