Job Summary:

The National Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for Sharp's National Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for Sharp's National Accounts
  • Projecting sales and identifying trends to inform decision-making
  • Creating and implementing promotional campaigns to drive sales at the retail level
  • Delivering persuasive presentations to key stakeholders within National Accounts
  • Cultivating strong relationships with senior leadership at The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and other assigned accounts
  • Managing relationships with key national accounts, including The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and others as assigned
  • Developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan to achieve and exceed assigned sales budgets
  • Achieving territory sales budget and fiscal quota across product categories
  • Providing accurate product forecasting by account and week, aligned with the sales budget
  • Traveling to key accounts to present Sharp product lines and consult on sales strategies
  • Developing, communicating, and managing the performance of specific account sales revenue goals
  • Leveraging customer, industry, and internal sales data to drive performance and maintain a competitive advantage
  • Leading client engagements and managing relationships at the C-Suite and middle management levels for large national accounts
  • Sharing relevant customer insights and reporting operations internally
  • Partnering with marketing communications and promotions to develop sell-thru programs and meet weekly/monthly sales targets
  • Attending PSI meetings and reporting on previous month's sales, inventory, and future needs
  • Managing an APO forecast for all product categories
  • Developing and managing a market development fund budget to maximize sales and ROI
  • Ensuring effective time and territory management, including attending multiple daily department meetings
  • Maintaining daily and weekly communication through written reports, videos, and mobile engagements with internal departments
  • Demonstrating strong leadership, integrity, and people-management skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of consumer electronic and/or appliance product sales experience
  • Proven track record of driving sales revenues exceeding $20-$40 million
  • Demonstrated passion for brand, product, and team through action and results
  • Expertise in sales strategies and tactics, with experience driving the sales process from strategy to close
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, sales, or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical and business/economic foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, and sales tracking
  • Ability to interact with customers at all levels, including negotiating and presenting to senior management
  • Experience and success in managing national accounts
  • Computer mastery of Microsoft Office software suite
  • Willingness to travel 30-35%, including potential international travel to Japan
