RN - CMC Emergency Services - Per Diem - 12 Hour - Variable

At John Muir Health, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team Members: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Manage Patient Flow: Triages patients, prioritizes care, and coordinates with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Develop and Maintain Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures, technologies, and best practices to provide exceptional patient care.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and patient-centered care, serving as a role model for colleagues and new staff members.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Experience: 6 Months Nursing - Acute Care Preferred, 2000 hours Nursing - Emergency Must be Obtained within last 3 years - Core Requirement
- Certifications/Licensures: RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required, BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required, ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Non-Core Requirement, PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support - American Heart Association Required prior to completion of orientation to the assigned area or ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course - Emergency Nurses Association Required prior to completion of orientation to the assigned area
As a per diem Registered Nurse in our Emergency Services department, you will work a 12-hour shift, providing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, utilizing the latest medical technologies and best practices to deliver exceptional patient care.
Compensation and Benefits:As a valued member of our team, you will receive competitive compensation and benefits, including a hourly rate of $104.97. Note that positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
