As a Registered Nurse with John Muir Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Emergency Services department. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team on a per diem basis, working 12-hour variable shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care: Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to create a compassionate healing environment, ensuring interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering professional growth and satisfaction.
- Coordinate and provide care: Manage the entire spectrum of care for patients receiving conscious sedation, including nerve blocks and cardioversion, and demonstrate competency in triage, precipitous deliveries, and stabilizing critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Meet education and experience requirements: Possess a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and have at least 6 months of acute care experience, with 2000 hours of emergency nursing experience within the last 3 years.
- Hold relevant certifications and licensures: Be a registered nurse with the California Board of Nursing and hold certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Education: Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: At least 6 months of acute care experience, with 2000 hours of emergency nursing experience within the last 3 years.
- Certifications/Licensures: Registered nurse with the California Board of Nursing, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Pay and Benefits:Our per diem RNs are compensated at a rate of $104.97 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and professional growth. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings and paid time off.
