As a Registered Nurse with John Muir Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Emergency Services department. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team on a per diem basis, working 12-hour variable shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Manage complex patient cases, including those requiring conscious sedation, triage, and stabilization.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in California.
- 6 months of acute care experience, with a preference for emergency nursing.
- 2000 hours of nursing experience in emergency care, obtained within the last 3 years.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) certification.
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) competency.

Compensation:Our hourly rate is $104.97, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
