Role Overview:
The Senior Product Manager, Technical is a key visionary responsible for steering the development and enhancement of API management, Gateway, and Authorization and Access Management services. This position involves crafting the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Conduct thorough research on API, Security, and Gateway platforms.
  • Write features and user stories that align with product goals.
  • Define the long-term strategy and create a comprehensive product roadmap.
  • Drive technical delivery from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with development teams and key stakeholders to establish release schedules.
  • Support and drive go-to-market initiatives as necessary.

Daily Activities:
Engage in the development of innovative Application Delivery Networking solutions, ensuring our customers remain at the forefront of technology. You will navigate the complexities of emerging technologies to deliver exceptional developer experiences.

Collaboration:
Work closely with API Product Managers, Engineers, and Vendors, utilizing your technical expertise and customer-focused approach to make strategic decisions that enhance service delivery. Connect with customers to translate their needs into actionable product strategies.

Leadership:
Lead a dedicated team focused on exploring innovative ways to enhance connectivity and simplify customer interactions with technology. Take full ownership of the product lifecycle for complex consumer devices and network services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience is required. You should have:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in technical writing, production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture.
  • 7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software development environment.

Skills and Expertise:
Advanced understanding of API Management, Gateway, and Authorization and Access Management is essential. You should possess:

  • Strong requirements elicitation and professional writing skills.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools.
  • Proven ability to deliver large and complex business initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly.
  • Deep understanding of platform technologies, security, performance, and API integration.

Compensation:
The base pay range for this role is $124,700 - $224,900, with a corporate bonus target of 20%. Actual pay will depend on various factors including work location, qualifications, and experience.
