We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team at Boston Scientific. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute action plans to achieve quarterly and monthly sales targets, analyzing sales figures and reports to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and assess market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote company products to healthcare professionals and support business expansion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to launch new products and accounts, developing go-to-market strategies and training customers on product benefits and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, innovations, and regulatory changes, adapting strategies to ensure the company remains competitive and aligned with market needs.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM systems and other digital platforms to track customer interactions, manage accounts, and create personalized approaches for customer engagement and retention.
  • Respond to customer concerns by identifying issues and developing creative solutions, coordinating with clinical, marketing, or pricing teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Expand network within hospital systems by engaging with personnel across departments, attending conferences, and building relationships with decision-makers to support future sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, plus 1-3 years of relevant sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably within an OR environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Solid business and financial understanding required.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on both short- and long-term goals.
  • Demonstrate ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly and disseminate appropriately to all levels of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent selling skills required.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, team player, proven leadership qualities, and execution.
  • Possess the ability to determine and set the direction within territory.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in managing and organizing daily schedules, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • A strategic mindset for identifying new market opportunities.
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined, and goal-oriented.
  • Excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish).
