Position Overview:
Amentum is on the lookout for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to provide critical support to our Navy clientele through comprehensive systems and technical engineering services.


Your expertise will be integral in implementing a structured and methodical Systems Engineering (SE) process across all operational areas of the system in development and maintenance.


Utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience, you will assist our client in defining, documenting, and adhering to an open systems approach that incorporates modular design, standards-based interfaces, and widely accepted consensus-based standards across hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that make up the specific system.


Key Responsibilities:
As a valued member of various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups, you will:


- Develop Cyber Defense-in-Depth Architecture Diagrams for the system, sub-network, and platform network integration.


- Create, maintain, and execute Cyber test procedures while documenting results.


- Formulate and update Cyber Risk Mitigation Plans.


- Develop and sustain Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages in alignment with NAVSEA business protocols.


- Document cross-domain interfaces and review Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability scans.


- Analyze and evaluate Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and/or Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) content relevant to each system component.


- Assess user requirements to devise systems solutions that align with overarching business strategies.


- Document system requirements, define project scope and objectives, and create specifications that guide system development and implementation.


- Act as a liaison between Cyber Security professionals and users, possessing both business acumen and technical expertise.


- Contribute to moderately complex project aspects while working independently and collaboratively.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with four (4) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in network computer equipment, systems, and security.
- Alternatively, an Associate's Degree in a technical field with nine (9) years of relevant experience in network computer equipment, systems, and security.
- Familiarity with DOD IA mandatory policies, standards, and procedures is essential.
- An Active SECRET US Government Clearance is required.


Note:
US Citizenship is necessary to obtain a SECRET Clearance.


Possession of Cyber-Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Advanced Level knowledge and skills, with at least an IAT Level III certification in IA standards and policies, is mandatory.
