We are in search of a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Manager with profound technical knowledge to oversee compliance initiatives for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. This pivotal role involves leading a specialized team responsible for various tasks, including policy interpretation, development, and compliance reporting.

This position mandates an active Secret clearance and offers a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of command site documentation, including cybersecurity policies.
  • Support the Cyber Readiness Program through scheduled and unscheduled site visits.
  • Develop and manage workforce training plans, incident response strategies, and security protocols.
  • Update and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with evolving DoD and DON policies.
  • Generate necessary documentation to comply with Risk Management Framework requirements and secure Authority to Operate (ATO) for IT systems.
  • Monitor and analyze updates on Navy Computer Task Orders.
  • Establish and maintain a Knowledge Management Database detailing the cybersecurity posture of supported systems.
  • Compile and manage a repository of current cybersecurity-related SOPs and policies for compliance inspections.
  • Publish and maintain cyber compliance metrics, including endpoint security data.
  • Provide project management support, including tracking System Authorization Access Request forms.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance with an active Secret clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, GSLC, CISM).
  • Experience in Navy Compliance Inspections.
  • Knowledge of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and associated risks in various operating systems.
  • Ability to review and provide insights on DoD information assurance documents.
  • Experience in developing command-level policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with DoD policies and regulations, particularly those applicable to the Afloat community.
