Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Information Assurance Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement cybersecurity best practices, strategies, and protocols to facilitate assessment and authorization (A&A) initiatives for Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) systems.
  • Oversee hardware and software configuration baseline updates for NETTN systems and ensure compliance with Navy Training Baseline (NTB) software configurations.
  • Engage with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) package escalation processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to manage plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms) for ongoing and resolved findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR seven (7) years of experience with an Associate's degree, OR twelve (12) years of experience with a High School diploma.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines, and other federal regulations.
  • Possession of Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) certifications such as CompTia Security+, CISSP, or CASP, along with Computing Environment/Operating System (CE/OS) certifications.
  • Experience at the DoD Information Assurance Technician (IAT)-I level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, HBSS) and RMF process tools (e.g., MCCAST, eMASS, eArcher, VRAM, and DITPR-DON/DADMS) is advantageous.
  • CISSP certification is preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory, along with an active Secret Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Regularly operates a computer and other office equipment.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
