Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Field Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring that construction and remedial activities comply with all relevant regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and document all aspects of the work scope to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepare documentation for the Final Engineering Report and Site Management Plans, including:
    • Photographic evidence
    • Written records
    • Compilation of project-related paperwork
    • Resolution of construction-related issues
  • Engage in project meetings on-site throughout the construction phase.
  • Generate daily and monthly reports for submission to regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain regular communication with Project Management and Engineering teams.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting the Community Air Monitoring System to ensure accurate functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with a current 8-hour refresher course.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Pre-employment drug screening in accordance with federal regulations may be required.
