Position Overview:
The Managed Care Rebate Specialist plays a crucial role in processing rebate claims for Managed Care Commercial, Medicare Part D, Managed Medicaid, and Medical Agreements. This position requires a keen analysis of utilization data, ensuring compliance with rebate contract terms and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly understand PBM networks, drug formularies, and various Managed Care rebate types, including Base Rebates and Administrative Fees.
- Interpret contract language and maintain plans, products, and reimbursement thresholds in the Model N/Flex System.
- Analyze utilization data for accuracy and completeness.
- Apply necessary validations to utilization data, excluding ineligible claims.
- Process rebates through Model N/Flex Revenue Manager Submissions, resolving errors and managing claim rejections.
- Ensure calculated reimbursements receive the necessary approvals and are prepared for payment.
- Track invoice amounts and analyze variances between periods.
- Assist with system testing as required.
- Communicate payment calculation details and claim rejections to management and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience with Model N/Flex/Revitas and Revenue Manager modules.
- Proficient in validating utilization data from PBMs and Managed Care contracts.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Work Environment:
This position offers a remote work opportunity, with standard business hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility in hours may be required based on business needs.
