Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Field Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing essential oversight and documentation of all project elements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and document all aspects of the work scope to ensure adherence to construction and remedial activities.
  • Compile documentation for the Final Engineering Report and Site Management Plans, including:
    • Photographic evidence
    • Written observations
    • Project-related paperwork (e.g., manifests)
    • Resolution of construction-related challenges
  • Engage in project meetings on-site throughout the construction phase.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports for submission to regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain regular communication with Project Management and Engineering teams.
  • Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting the Community Air Monitoring System to ensure accurate functionality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with current 8-hour refresher.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with strong leadership skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Compliance with pre-employment drug screening and physical examination requirements.
