Job Summary

Dewberry is seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Senior Construction Inspector for our Road and Bridge projects in New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Review and analyze construction documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in road and/or bridge construction inspection.
  • NICET II, III, or IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred.
  • NJSAT, ACI Field Grade I Technician, ACI-CCTC, and Rutgers TCC certifications.
  • Knowledge of NJDOT SiteManager and previous work experience on NJDOT Operations Projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
  • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
