Position Overview

[solidcore] is seeking an Area Manager who is dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of their team while embodying the [solidcore] ethos and workout philosophy. This role is fundamentally about leadership, focusing on building robust connections within the community. The Area Manager is tasked with overseeing all facets of performance and expansion across several studios, ensuring that all business areas are effectively managed and driven by the pursuit of exceeding objectives and fostering growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing class schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and proactively adjusting to enhance efficiency.
  • Assuming operational and financial oversight for multiple studios within a designated region.
  • Achieving revenue and sales goals, enhancing profitability, and attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent in the area.
  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Studios to oversee daily operations of [solidcore] studios and executing company-wide strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, analyzing and presenting key performance indicators such as sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll.
  • Creating local initiatives and marketing strategies to drive unique traffic and surpass studio-specific targets.
  • Building relationships with local health, fitness, and wellness communities, as well as key influencers and potential corporate partners.
  • Acting as a [solidcore] studio coach, maintaining a commitment to teaching a minimum of 4 classes weekly.
  • Ensuring timely and positive communication with clients.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Head Coach-Community Managers.

Qualifications

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to studios for at least 75% of the week, with the remaining 25% being remote, subject to business needs.
  • This is a full-time, exempt position with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week (including class instruction).
  • Experience in multi-unit management (3-5 years preferred).
  • Prior experience in people management within high-end fitness, retail, or hospitality sectors (3-5 years preferred).
  • Experience in group fitness instruction, personal training, or professional athletic training (2 years preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
