Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at The Lodge at Sonoma. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Check-in and check-out guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Process guest payments and handle cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

  • Provide guests with information and assistance regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.

  • Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.

  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move around the front desk area.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and bend/kneel as needed.

  • Must be able to read and write in English and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Salary

USD $24.21 - USD $24.21 /Hr.
