Position Overview:

Apt 5 is an innovative cocktail bar in search of a skilled sous chef to oversee our small-plate menu. This role will be pivotal as you will hold the most senior position in the kitchen upon the bar's launch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise kitchen personnel, ensuring uniformity in the preparation, presentation, and quality of all culinary offerings.
  • Engage in food preparation, cooking, and plating, while also overseeing these processes.
  • Manage inventory levels, procure supplies, and ensure the kitchen operates efficiently within budgetary constraints.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the bar team to develop unique pairings and special menu items that complement our cocktail selections.
