The Environmental Compliance Specialist, Project Management plays a crucial role in supporting the EHS Global Functional Organization to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and achieve industry-leading environmental performance for Air Products' capital projects across the Americas and globally.

This role will engage with both Americas and Corporate Environmental teams to guarantee that environmental work processes and strategies are effectively established and executed on capital projects.

Key responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Identifying and mitigating environmental risks.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental permits, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Defining and managing timelines for specific environmental activities, utilizing both internal and external resources to prevent project delays.
  • Developing and implementing construction environmental management plans.

The scope of project execution will extend from opportunity development through to commissioning and start-up phases.

This position will collaborate with the Americas and Corporate Environmental teams to provide guidance and influence various project disciplines, including project and construction management.

There will be a strong focus on supporting the development and facilitating the integration of diverse environmental and permitting work processes into the relevant systems and procedures utilized by the EHS Global Functional Organization, aimed at enhancing effectiveness and ensuring total environmental compliance throughout project execution.
