Position Overview: We are seeking a Regulatory Specialist to oversee compliance with environmental regulations pertaining to Salt Water Disposal wells and water recycling systems. This role involves ensuring adherence to both state and federal laws while managing permits and regulatory processes across multiple jurisdictions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze federal, state, and local regulations affecting Salt Water Disposal wells and water recycling systems.
  • Ensure all operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the permitting process for disposal wells and recycling facilities.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and landowners to secure necessary permits.
  • Prepare and submit required monthly and annual reports.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory practices and legislation.
  • Support interactions with regulatory agencies and internal leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of permits and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the oil and gas sector.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
