Your Responsibilities:

The Enhancement Supervisor (ES) is responsible for organizing and leading personnel and resources to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient enhancement solutions to our clients. The ES will also assist Account Managers in project estimation, design discussions, and client interactions as necessary, while independently marketing enhancement services to clients, whether or not they hold base maintenance contracts. The ES will manage a commercial landscape portfolio and oversee multiple service teams, focusing on training and developing team members through daily operational guidance.

Key Duties Include:

  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs through regular communication with Account Managers.
  • Overseeing all landscape enhancement operations, including the coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Conducting property inspections prior to scheduled services to formulate specific action plans.
  • Gaining insights into irrigation systems, identifying necessary repairs or adjustments, and relaying recommendations to the appropriate parties.
  • Monitoring landscapes post-service to detect any insect or disease issues.
  • Providing hands-on support to crews as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Implementing and upholding BrightView's policies and procedures regarding equipment maintenance, storage, and training.
  • Collaborating with the Branch Manager to assess staffing requirements, recruit new team members, and create daily work schedules.
  • Ensuring all employee documentation is accurately completed for changes and new hires.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, providing training, counseling, and performance reviews to foster growth.
  • Delivering practical training to crew members on equipment operation, pruning techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Prioritizing safety and monitoring safety records.
  • Managing all necessary administrative tasks, including timesheets, job databases, and service schedules.
  • Ordering materials as required and overseeing costs and deliveries.
  • Requesting purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Assisting the Branch Manager with enhancement sales activities as needed.

Qualifications:

You may be an ideal candidate if you possess:

  • A minimum of a two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, particularly in the landscaping sector, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a PLANET Certification (Installation of Hard and Softscapes).
