Position Overview
The Shift Lead is responsible for executing the duties of a Client Service Coordinator while also providing support to the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff in optimizing team performance and enhancing the operational efficiency of the veterinary practice.
Key Responsibilities
This role collaborates closely with the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff to facilitate effective communication among clients, internal stakeholders, and team members.

- Supporting hospital leadership in cultivating a high-performing team dedicated to delivering top-tier care and service to pets and their owners.
- Adhering to established protocols and practices to drive the team towards achieving operational goals while reinforcing our organizational culture and brand identity.
- Overseeing daily team operations as needed, ensuring the delivery of quality medical care, outstanding client service, and high associate engagement.
- Creating a supportive environment that enables the team to provide efficient and effective veterinary care while fostering a workplace where associates feel valued and motivated.
Client Interaction
Delivering professional, efficient, and exceptional client service is paramount. The Shift Lead will set a standard for the team, ensuring all associates are equipped to educate clients on wellness plans, preventive care, and other essential services while effectively addressing any client concerns.
Team Management
Assisting in the strategic scheduling of associates to meet client demands, while proactively managing time-off requests and continuing education opportunities. Ensuring compliance with all practice policies and maintaining adherence to professional appearance standards.
