Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee that all orders are prepared, packed, and organized for dispatch to designated locations by the end of each operational day.

  • Encourage employee motivation and maintain high morale to achieve optimal performance.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance stockroom operational efficiency, stepping in as necessary.
  • Safeguard company assets by ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment, securing the facility nightly, and monitoring inventory to prevent unauthorized removal.
  • Work with employee schedules, demonstrating a proactive approach to completing tasks and inspiring others to do the same.
  • Address customer inquiries and follow up to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Comply with all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to candidates with post-secondary education. Candidates should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a distribution center setting.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, work orders, and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of product lines for efficient service.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including AS 400, RADS, and general PC skills.
  • A dependable and honest work ethic, with a willingness to engage in both physical and mental tasks.
  • A strong desire to lead, embrace challenges, and seize opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
