Job OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY

The Office of Clerk Circuit Court is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support and assistance regarding computer systems while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff requiring technical support.
  • Offer assistance and troubleshooting for incoming service requests related to hardware and software issues.
  • Collect relevant information and conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the support process.
  • Document service requests in the help desk management system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
  • Provide information regarding IT products and services to users.
  • Follow up with users on outstanding service requests, gathering additional information when needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant technical training in modern information technology, with certifications preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of information systems, including security, file storage, databases, and email.
  • Familiarity with the operations and software used in the Clerk's office is advantageous.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
  • Must fulfill the testing requirements set by the Office.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to communicate effectively through speaking, listening, and visual engagement.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent walking or standing may be necessary.
