Job Title: Affordable Housing Compliance Technician

Job Summary:

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Compliance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience in affordable housing/compliance, with a strong understanding of government subsidy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional interviews with residents, complete necessary documentation for timely resident certification in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Accurately enter applicant and resident information into Yardi Voyager.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Maintain effective, professional relationships with residents.
  • Maintain excellent relations with Property Managers and site staff.
  • Provide guidance and resolution to issues as necessary.

Property Management:

  • Meet all corporate designated deadlines.
  • Support the PMCS team during position vacancies, PTO, vacations, training, and/or peak activity.
  • Implement procedures as outlined in the Program Compliance Manual.
  • Support the team in site compliance training.
  • Attend Property Management meetings as requested.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2 years' experience in affordable housing/compliance, with knowledge of government subsidy programs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Yardi experience is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
