Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review applications along with financial data from prospective and current borrowing accounts, including tax returns and financial statements.
  • Analyze data to assess the short- and long-term financial viability of individuals or businesses, determining the risk associated with extending credit.
  • Ensure compliance with established lending policies during all credit analysis activities.
  • Prepare cash flow analyses to evaluate the ability of borrowers to service debt.
  • Generate financial ratios to assess the financial health of customers.
  • Document all financial analysis work thoroughly, preparing reports suitable for presentation to decision-makers.
  • Provide recommendations regarding loan approvals or denials, ensuring sufficient documentation supports these recommendations.
  • Evaluate customer records to suggest repayment options based on financial data.
  • Review customer files to identify delinquent accounts for further evaluation.
  • Compare financial metrics of evaluated establishments with similar entities in the same sector.
  • Assess third-party reports and documents for additional insights.
  • Compile written analyses in the required format for review.
  • Engage with credit associations and business representatives to exchange relevant credit information.
  • Consult with customers to verify financial transactions.
  • Manage multiple credit requests of varying complexities simultaneously.
  • Review and update existing loan customer relationships to determine ongoing creditworthiness.
  • Maintain and organize credit files to ensure all necessary documentation is present.
